Collecting many accolades including The Knot Best of Weddings, Platinum Listings in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Top 10 Las Vegas Bride Wedding Planners and will soon be the Featured Wedding Coordinator on We TV Platinum Weddings, the episode of Apple and Tony.
Christie McCoy's vision is simple... she wants to create and provide her clients with expert knowledge, passion, commitment and dedication to excellence while creating a personal and custom experience.
CLM Weddings and Events was created to assist our clients in not only creating their custom event, but also produce the event. Each and every event is custom and unique based on the needs, desires, cultures and beliefs of our clients. We not only want your event to be remembered but it is important to us that your event truly reflects your style and concepts.
Our talented, creative and experienced staff will deliver a unique product as well as provide you with excellent customer service throughout the planning process. We will advise you in making educated decisions as to budgeting, planning and the overall design concept for your wedding and/or event. We take pride in making your wedding the most spectacular event of your lives.
In addition to planning weddings and events Christie has been the designer of many best in show booths at the Premier Bridal Show and Bridal Spectacular. Christie is the Principle Faculty Member and Chair of the International School of Hospitality Wedding Coordination & Design Program. Christie is a frequent guest speaker at The University of Nevada- Las Vegas in the hospitality and hotel management classes.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska with a B.A. in Communication Studies, Christie was an All-American Softball player in the Designated Player position for the Huskers. After college Christie continued her softball career and played professionally for the Tampa Bay Firestix & North Carolina Diamonds in the Women's Professional Softball League.
Christie married Justin Hjelm, the VP of CLM Weddings and Events in June 2008. They live in Las Vegas and have two dogs, Abby a Golden Retriever and Harlee, a Bernese Mountain Dog.
